FRCEM Success is a specialist Emergency Medicine online revision platform developed to guide doctors through their FRCEM exams by providing a comprehensive, time efficient and personalised revision resource.
Our online FRCEM Primary and Intermediate SAQ revision courses provide access to thousands of original questions mapped to the Royal College of Emergency Medicine curricula with extensive revision notes and detailed feedback to boost your FRCEM exam preparation and maximise your chance of success. We are continually reviewing, updating and expanding our question bank to ensure our questions represent what you will experience in the actual exam.

Can I share FRCEM Success membership with a colleague?
Each purchased membership is for a single user. We do not offer group memberships. Our system does not allow multiple logins: logging in on a second device will result in the first device being logged out.
It is against our Terms and Conditions to share your account with another user. Any user found sharing account details will have their membership ended without refund.

What revision courses do you currently provide?
We currently provide FRCEM Primary and FRCEM Intermediate SAQ revision memberships.
We do not provide any Intermediate SJP materials currently. This is something we may consider in the future.

How many unique questions do you have on your revision courses?
Our FRCEM Primary Revision Course has over 3000 original single best answer questions covering core topics including: anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, pathology and evidence based medicine.
Our FRCEM Intermediate SAQ Revision Course has over 500 original short answer questions covering core topics including: common competences, adult and paediatric presentations, anaesthetic competences, intensive care medicine and practical procedures.
We are continually updating and expanding our question bank with real questions seen in the exams each year.
Do you have a FRCEM Intermediate SJP revision course?
We do not currently offer a FRCEM Intermediate SJP revision course.
This is something we may consider in the future.
Who writes the questions for your revision courses?
All of our questions are written and reviewed by a team of doctors with first hand experience of the FRCEM Primary and Intermediate SAQ examinations.
We use real questions from exams that have been submitted by previous users after sitting their exams.
We also write original questions based on the RCEM Curriculum and Basic Science Curriculum with a focus on only including material that may be tested in the real exam.
We continually seek feedback and question submissions to ensure our questions remain representative and up to date.
When are new questions added to your revision courses?
We are continually reviewing, updating and expanding our question bank to ensure our questions represent what you will experience in the actual exam.
We ask our users to submit questions they have seen in the exam and try to add these to our database as soon as possible for future candidates.
Can I download the questions or notes to use offline?
Our system is designed to be used as an online interactive system. This is how you best experience the full features of the website including dynamic feedback, progress tracking and comparison with other candidates.
Our system does not allow the copying of any material to be used offline or shared. This violates our Terms and Conditions. The website is fitted with software to stop copying and any users found attempting to copy or share materials will have their membership terminated without refund.

Can I have a free trial before I purchase a membership?
We offer a free demo of both our FRCEM Primary and Intermediate SAQ revision courses.

Do you offer any discounts on your memberships?
We do not offer discount codes routinely. On occasion we do send out exclusive discount codes to subscribers of our newsletter.

What payment methods do you accept for your memberships?
We accept the majority of credit and debit cards through our online payment processing provider, Stripe.
We also accept payment via PayPal.
Do you offer refunds on your memberships?
If you are unhappy with our service we offer a full refund and cancellation of your membership within 24 hours of purchase.

What can I do if my payment has not been accepted?
We accept debit and credit card payments processed via Stripe. On occasion, payments may fail to process. The majority of the time this is due to your bank not authorising the payment. If your payment has failed, you can attempt to process the payment again using the same card, or try using a different debit or credit card.
We also accept payment via PayPal. We recommend trying to purchase using PayPal if you have been unsuccessful using your debit or credit card.
If both debit or credit card and PayPal payments are unsuccessful we are unable to assist further. This is beyond our control and you will need to discuss this with your bank.
What are the system requirements for using FRCEM Success?
You will require a working internet connection and an up to date internet browser. Our system is optimised for Google Chrome – we cannot guarantee that our website experience will be as good using any other browser.
If you are experiencing difficulty accessing or viewing aspects of the website we recommend:
- Trying an alternative browser (Google Chrome, if not already being used)
- Trying an alternative computer or device
- Trying an alternative internet connection – some connections, especially hospital connections, filter certain content
Although we try to make our system as compatible as possible with different devices and browsers, we are unable to account for all combinations of hardware, software and internet connection.
Do you have a FRCEM Success offline app?
No, we do not currently offer a standalone FRCEM Success app. The website is compatible with mobile phones and other mobile devices but you still need a working internet connection – questions and materials are not available offline.
